An alleged GTX 590 presentation slide has leaked online and reveals, or rather confirms, what we have known for quite some time. In addition to the already rumoured specs, the slide also details the cooler and we can tell you that this is actually the one that we have seen at Cebit.
The card has a total of 1024 CUDA cores, 512 per GF110 GPU. It also features 1536MB of GDDR5 memory per GPU for a total of 3GB. The things that weren't carved in the stone were precise clocks, which were rumoured to be somewhere between the GTX 570 and the GTX 580, and the actual reference cooler that should be used on the GTX 590.
According to the slide, the GTX 590 card features a high-grade 12-layer PCB with 2oz copper layers, 10-phase VRM, a custom PCI-E dual x16 bridge chip, and it will need two 8-pin PCI-E power connectors to feed it with enough power. Although we haven't seen the insides of the cooler back at Cebit we must say that it looks a lot like the one on the slide. It has a center placed fan paired up with dual vapor chambers, one per each GPU.
The last rumour placed the launch date at 22nd of March, so we'll just have to wait a bit longer to get those last pieces of the Nvidia GTX 590 puzzle. You can check out the original post here.
