The best part about this, besides the hilarious new name is that it's essentially the exact same program/app which means it's super easy to migrate from Yuzu to Suyu without losing any anything at all, including your game files and saves. How to Transfer Everything from Yuzu Android to Suyu Android.
As we mentioned above because Yuzu and Suyu are essentially the exact same tool just rebranded and reskinned you can move all of your content from one to the other without any conflicts or conversion issues. BUT! You will want to do it as soon as possible because Suyu will be getting future updates which may reduce or destroy compatibility so it's in your best interest to work fast. While the process is pretty much a simple copy and paste swap from one set of folders to another below you'll find the exact process you need to follow to make sure you get everything correct.
How to Export All of Your Yuzu Android Data.
If you have followed any of our Yuzu Android setup guides in the paste, or used basic common sense you should have everything organised in a neat set of folders to make life easy.
- First make sure that you have downloaded and installed Suyu Android on your device: Download Suyu Android
- Once you have installed it you can start moving everything across. So open Yuzu Android and go to Settings > Manage Yuzu Data.
- Here tap the Up Arrow in the User Data section to export all of your data to a zip file. Depending on how much data you have this might take a while so be patient.
How to Import All Your Yuzu Android Data into Suyu Android.
Now that you have exported all of your data you can import it into Suyu Android using the same process.
- Again make sure that you have Suyu Android installed.
- Now open Suyu Android and go to Settings > Manage Suyu Data.
- Here tap the the Down Arrow in the User Data section to import all of your data from the zip file you created earlier. Depending on how much data you have this might take a while so be patient.
No Option in Yuzu Android to Export Data?
If you don't have the option to export your data in Yuzu Android you will need to do it manually, which is still pretty easy. Just go to the yuzu folder and copy everything over to Suyu. I find it easiest to do this while my phone is connected to my computer. Using the Windows File Explorer is 100x easier than using the Android file management system. If you kept everything organised from day 1 as we suggest you should be able to find and move everything in a few minutes, depending on your file transfer speeds.
