Adobe is the King of the creative space and offers the best and most popular software for all kinds of different content creators. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Audition, and a ton of others. As well as their current selection of software Adobe has recently released a brand new tool, powered by AI that focuses on the Podcast genre. Sadly at this stage, it is currently only available in English.
The new tool is called Adobe Podcast (Previously Project Shasta) and uses AI to enhance speech and increase clarity by removing background noise and sharpening your voice’s frequencies. It makes it sound as if everything was recorded in a professional studio. That’s the claim anyway. It also has remote recording which makes recording with others as easy as sharing a link. Everyone’s audio is recorded in high quality locally, then Adobe Podcast syncs it back together in the cloud automatically.
There’s also a microphone check tool that analyses your Microphone and guides you on the best settings and positioning to get the perfect quality audio every time. However one of the best features is the speech-to-text technology which is powered by Adobe Premiere Pro’s system so you can easily edit audio using a transcript.
If you're looking for Adobe Enhance Speech or Adobe Mic Check, you can start using them now as they're available to everyone and don't require an invite. So how exactly do you get access to Adobe Podcast?
How do you request access to use Adobe Podcast? Using Adobe Podcast to create Podcasts and Enhance audio.
- To request early access to Adobe Podcast you’ll need to visit https://podcast.adobe.com/ and click the Request Access button at the top of the page.
- Next, you will have to sign in with your Adobe account or create a new account.
- Once you have done this you will have to fill out the form which asks for all the usual information. Stuff you have probably already entered into your account anyway.
- After you have filled out the form you will need to click Submit at the bottom of the page.
Now it’s just a waiting game to see if you get access. If you are lucky you will get a reply email sometime in the future giving you access to Adobe Podcast. Sadly the entire process is based on luck so there’s no real guarantee you will get in. However, if you don’t require the text-to-speech and the project sharing/creation stuff you can get access to Adobe Enhance Speech and Adobe Mic Check, right now without having to wait for your request to be approved. They are both available for free access. Seeing as you’re already using Adobe products you’ll probably want to checkout or bookmark our Adobe Software troubleshooting guides, unlike the official sources they actually help solve problems.
