Diablo Immortals was one of the most hated game concepts in recent times and saw one of the biggest backlashes in gaming history. The official Blizzard release video that aired on YouTube became the most viewed and most disliked video in the shortest period of time in the entire history of YouTube. However! Putting all that aside, Diablo Immortal has the potential to be a pretty interesting Diablo game, with current gameplay trailers showing very Diablo 3 styling.
If you haven’t already checked out some of the gameplay footage, head on over to Rhykerr’s YouTube page to watch some of the pre-release Alpha footage. Alternatively, you can visit the official page here. Personally, I was quite annoyed to find out about Diablo Immortals being a mobile game before any news on Diablo 4 but after checking out Diablo Immortal and the progression of D4, I’m starting to feel a little less angry about a Diablo mobile game. Especially one that aims to tie a few loose ends together. Anyway enough talk about the game and more talk about how to actually register your interest in the Diablo Immortal alpha and beta trails.
How do you sign up for the Diablo Immortal Alpha/Beta tests? Diablo Immortal Pre-Registration.
To begin, it’s important to remember that Alpha release phases are usually very limited and in this instance, things aren’t much different. You’ll need to meet a few basic requirements to be able to get into the first round of trials. First, you’ll need to be in Australia, second, you’ll need to have an Android device, and third, you’ll need to be super lucky, as there are only a few thousand spots up for grabs.
Even if you don’t live in Australia or feel lucky, you can still pre-register for Diablo Immortal test rounds. To do this open the Google Play Store on your Android device and make sure you are signed in to your account. Next, find Diablo Immortal on the Google Play Store and click the Pre-Register option where you would normally find the download option. Once you have completed this process, your details will be submitted to the dev team.
Depending on how lucky you are and your location, you might be lucky enough to snag a place in the very first test phase of Diablo Immortal, which you will be notified about via email. If you don’t make it into the first round of Diablo Immortal Android testing, your details will remain in the database for all future testing, so you may get an invitation to test Diablo immortals at a later date, perhaps during the major beta test phase. If the alpha and beta process for Diablo Immortal works in a similar way as the Call of Duty Mobile one, there’s a good chance you’ll get an invite to at least one of the phases, so long as your mobile device doesn’t fall too far outside device minimum specifications.
