Step 1: Download and Install Joiplay

Joiplay is a game launcher that lets you run RPG Maker games (like Pokémon Uranium) on Android. Unfortunately, the version available on the Google Play Store doesn’t work for this purpose, so you’ll need to download the APK directly from Joiplay’s website.

1. Download Joiplay Game Launcher:
   Head over to the official Joiplay website and download the APK file:

2. Install Joiplay:
   Once the APK is downloaded, open it and install it on your Android device. Make sure your device allows installations from unknown sources in your settings.

Step 2: Download and Install RPGM Plugin

To run Pokémon Uranium, you’ll also need the RPGM Plugin for Joiplay, which enables RPG Maker games to run smoothly.

Step 3: Download Pokémon Uranium

Step 4: Set Up Pokémon Uranium in Joiplay

• Launch the Joiplay app on your Android device.

• In Joiplay, tap the Add Game button. You’ll need to navigate to the folder where you extracted Pokémon Uranium.

• Find the Uranium.exe file within the extracted folder and select it. This will install Pokémon Uranium in Joiplay.

• During the installation, you might get a few pop-ups asking for confirmation. Just confirm them, and the game should install successfully.

Once the installation is complete, you can launch Pokémon Uranium directly from Joiplay. The game may crash on the first launch, but simply try reopening it if this happens. I have no clue why this happens but it never causes any more issues. The second attempt should work fine.

IMPORTANT: If you get a message about RPG Maker XP RTP while launching the game, you might need to install the RTP (Runtime Package) for RPG Maker XP. This is required to play the game.

• If prompted, download and install RPG Maker XP from the pop-up.

• Once downloaded, try launching the game again. The same pop-up will appear.

• Tap Choose, select the file you just downloaded, and install it. After doing this, the game should run without further issues.
