Outlook error 0x800CCC69 is a rather annoying error to get on Windows 11 and almost always prevents the email client from sending and receiving emails. It usually accompanies the following error message SMTP_550_MAILBOX_NOT_FOUND. While it is a damn frustrating error message to get there are some simple steps you can take that should fix the problem without having to do a ton of work. The only thing is that you'll probably have to tr more try more than one solution before you find the one that solves the problem.

Rather than waste your time with a ton of more involved solutions, we'll start off with this one as it has been the most successful in my experience.

This should solve the problem, but if it doesn't you might have an internet connectivity issue to deal with.

Update Windows

Ensure your Windows system is up to date, as outdated operating system files can cause compatibility issues:

Incorrect SMTP settings might also be causing this issue so check your email service provider's settings are correct.

Repair Outlook Data Files

Corrupted PST or OST files can cause errors in sending or receiving emails. You can repair these files as follows:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16

Temporarily Disable Antivirus or Firewall

If you are using a third-party anti-virus tool disable it and see if the problem goes away. These days most third-party antivirus tools are a total waste of time so you might as well just uninstall it and stick with Windows Defender with default settings.
