While a good percentage of these issues will probably be solved in future patches (hopefully) there are some changes you can make right now that will make a huge difference to gameplay.

How do you fix Hogwarts Legacy Lag & Stutter Issues on PC?
If your hardware is all good, there are a couple more changes you can make that make a huge difference to lag and stuttering.
- First, go to Display Options in Hogwarts Legacy and set Upscale Type to None. Once you have done this you can move on to the next and most important step.
- Next, open the Start menu and search Exploit Protection, then open it when it appears.
- Here change to Program Settings, then click Add a Program to Customise and click Choose Exact file path.
- Now find and select the HogwartsLegacy.exe inside the SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > Hogwarts Legacy folder.
- This will place a new entry on the main page, so click on it and then select Edit.
- Now scroll down to Control flow guard (CFG) check the Override system settings box and disable the other two settings. It should look like the screenshot below.
- Finally, click Apply to save the changes.
After you have made all of the above changes you should be able to play Hogwarts Legacy without any lag or stuttering in the worst-case scenario you should see a considerable decrease in lag. I also suggest making sure that you make sure Windows is fully up to date, along with your BIOS and your graphics drivers.
