As we mentioned above there are quite a few different reasons that you may have issues streaming Discord on Windows 11. However, most of these potential issues are easy to check and fix so work your way through the list below and you should solve Discord Streams freezing on the loading page.
Restart Discord (This should be an obvious one)

Completely close Discord. On the desktop, ensure it’s not running in the system tray—right-click the icon and select "Quit Discord." Use Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, find any Discord-related processes, and end them.

On mobile, remove Discord from your recent apps list to ensure it’s fully closed.

Reopen Discord and try streaming again.
Update Graphics Drivers (Use DDU)
While this might not be the most obvious fix streaming does use a fair bit of your GPU resources so make sure your graphics drivers are working.
- First Download Display Driver Uninstaller
- Next, download the latest GPU driver.
- Disable your Internet connection.
- Run DDU and select the option to remove GeForce Experience (GFE) if prompted. You will get a similar message if you are using AMD Graphics.
- After the process completes accept the restart request and let your computer restart.
- Install the driver software and re-establish your internet connection. This prevents Windows from installing generic drivers automatically.
Check Network Connection

Find Network & Internet troubleshooter from the list and select Run.

Follow the instructions and apply any suggested fixes.

Restart your computer.
Windows 10

Right-click on Start and select Settings.

Navigate to Network & Internet.

On the right side, find the Advanced Network Settings section.

Click Network Troubleshooter and wait for it to finish.

Apply any fixes that are suggested.
Clear the Discord Cache

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Click More details if necessary.

Locate Discord under the Apps section.

Right-click the app and select End Task.

Scroll down and end any other Discord background processes that are still running.

Type %AppData% in Windows search and press Enter.

Find the Discord folder, select it, and press Shift + Del to delete it.

Next, type %LocalAppData% in Windows search and press Enter.

Delete the Discord folder in the same way.

Start the app and check if the issue is resolved.
Enable or Disable Hardware Acceleration in Discord

Go to User Settings (gear icon near your profile picture).

Run Discord as Administrator

Reinstall Discord
