What’s New in Game Assist (Preview)

Game Assist delivers contextual tips and guides for a growing selection of popular PC games. In the scheme of things, it's not a lot of games but there is a few big titles to keep you interested. While this feature will be handy for some users I do believe it has the potential to take away from the mystery and intrigue of gaming. Random discovery and challenge are a huge part of gaming.

If your favourite game isn’t yet supported, Microsoft plans to continually expand the list of games included in Game Assist. In the meantime, the widget allows you to search for guides, walkthroughs, and tips on external sites while playing any game. A lot of the games that find their way to Game Pass will probably get priority though so keep that in mind.

The team has also made improvements to the in-widget browsing experience.
