GameSave Manager Download
GameSave Manager is a free program that allows you to make backup copies of all the saved files installed on the game disc. With this tool, you no longer have to worry about drive failures or Operating System problems.
- The application detects most games, and the program database is constantly updated (currently over 2,000 of the most popular titles).
- The advantage is that the database of supported games is updated separately from the program, so the updates are more frequent (even up to several times a week) and are performed automatically from the program level.
- GameSave Manager also supports games installed using Steam.
- You can also create scheduled tasks to make sure game save data is automatically backed up regularly. You can successfully automate the entire process and set the program in such a way that, for example, it creates copies every day at a selected time.
- It is also worth mentioning one of the most interesting options, i.e. support for cloud file storage services. If we have accounts in services such as DropBox, Google Drive or SkyDrive, there is nothing to prevent us from setting the program to automatically store copies on virtual disks.
The created backups are stored in a single file with the extension characteristic of the program. Just use the "Make a backup" option, and then select the desired games. The manager will automatically remember the save location and create one packed file containing all game states. Restoring your saved files is as easy as copying them. It is enough to use the backup restore function and select the previously created file. The program will automatically check the paths and restore the saves to the right places. The only requirement is to install the desktop client of the selected service. The creators also took care of users who do not use the cloud but would still like to store their copies of the game states in a different place than the local disk. If we have our own FTP server, we can enter the access data and select the folder to which the copies will be saved. When making a backup, the program will automatically connect to the FTP server and place the copies there.
